Kelingking beach is located in the north of Nusa Penida Island aptly in banjar Karang Dawa, Bunga Mekar village approximately 40 km from Sampalan harbour.
The founders of this beach are tourists from Czechoslovakia and Australia when they were diving. The beach has 80 meters width which are located below the steep cliffs and not too wide, the gap is high and there is no road access to get down to the beach. It makes tourists can only see a view from the top of the cliff. However, the scenery above the cliff like whale is not easily found in other places. At low tide, tourists sometimes can see manta rays off the cliff.
